Air France is one of the main airline companies of Europe. It is based in Paris of France. The airline company was established on October 7 in the year 1933. It was formed a merge happened between Compagnie Générale Aéropostale, Société Générale de Transport Aérien (SGTA), Air Orient.

Air France is a subsidiary of Air France KLM Group. On September 30, 2003, Netherlands-based KLM Royal Dutch Airlines declared the unification of the two airlines. The new company was called Air France-KLM. The headquarters is situated at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle to the North of Paris.
